Founded in 2015, the Luba Jessy Foundation is a Ugandan non-profit organization dedicated to empowering vulnerable children and teenage mothers through education, mentorship, and practical skills training. Born out of a deep compassion for marginalized communities, our mission is to create a future where every child has access to education and every young mother has a chance to thrive.
Our journey began in the heart of Iganga District, where early pregnancy, poverty, and social stigma continue to deny many children and young women the opportunity to reach their potential. In response to this need, our foundation has stepped in to break the cycle of hopelessness through life-changing programs.
Since our inception, we have:
1. Sponsored school fees and materials for over 15 disadvantaged children.
3. Provided counseling and mentorship programs that rebuild confidence and emotional strength.
2. Supported teenage mothers through vocational training in tailoring, hairdressing, and crafts.
Your generous donation provides school fees, supplies, and food for vulnerable children. It also helps teenage mothers learn vocational skills to support their families.
We identify the most at-risk children and mothers through our community networks and partner organizations. Support is tailored to meet educational, emotional, and practical needs.
With your help, we can scale our programs, sponsor more children, and expand training for young mothers. We welcome both financial and material support.
Through scholarships, vocational training, mentorship, and counseling, we restore hope and create lasting change. We believe in second chances and building futures.
